Maybe I Care Too Much

I have been struggling to put into words my feelings about the presidential race and having Sarah Palin in it. Then through one link to another I found this. It is a blog post by a very thoughtful person with more eloquence than I could ever have on the issue. Her words express my thoughts beautifully.

Please go and read. Please, if you are one of those caring people Elizabeth speaks of in her blog, one of those caring people who supports the McCain/Palin ticket, will you please leave a comment and tell me why? I'm trying to understand. I want to understand. I don't understand. Not at all. Please help me understand.

Don't "cry" [virtual or otherwise] - get the facts! Don't listen to a bunch of hysterical rumors; Dr Socks is much more persuasive/eloquent than I am. Check out her last few posts re: Palin

Farther back, she links to a study proving than the Democrats distorted the primary/caucus system to win Obama the nomination...

Happy researching!

I read some of the links Val provided, and can only say politics is a messy thing. Why we just don't work with the votes as tallied I don't know. Sounds like the caucuses were fucked up as well, and Hillary may have been our candidate had the primary votes been all that counted.

Of course if votes were what counted in elections Bush would have never sat in the oval office.

SO much needs to be fixed in this country...

Val - Oh I definitely try to listen to the facts over the rumors. It's the facts that I find disturbing about McCain and Palin. There are some facts I find disturbing about Obama and Biden, just not as many. I think our whole political system is fucked up right now. I really do.

Fuse - You said it!
