So far there is only one downside to this potential FWB. He is single, and even though I have been very clear about my marital status and my desire not to have a romance but just a physical relationship, I get a little hint that he may be looking for more of a real relationship. Gotta keep that in mind as we go forward and not let it go down that path. Can't be romantically involved with anybody else for a while. Nope, gotta keep the heart on the high shelf tightly shut away in it's box.

OK, this may very well be the jaded and cynical me talking, but if you made it clear up front what you want, and he is still at least "insinuating" he wants more, my guess is he is simply going by his "playbook" and saying and doing what he thinks is the "right things to say." Especially since you haven't actually even met yet.
That is a long winded way of saying "be wary"
Be careful . . . but have fun! I know my PiC makes all the other crap in my life go away, if only for a couple hours.
HF - Well, I didn't necessarily get the impression he wanted more of a relationship with me necessarily, just more of a relationship in general. Don't know if that clarifies things or not. But yes, I will definitely be wary.
Bunny - Got it. Approach with caution and then enjoy myself. I think I can do that!
